Arizona St. defeats Grambling 80-49 behind Cambridge and Horne.

On Tuesday night, Devan Cambridge scored 16 points, DJ Horne added 15, and Arizona State easily defeated Grambling, 80-49.

Arizona State (5-1) destroyed then-No. 20 Michigan, 87-62, to win the Legends Classic, and it was their second consecutive thrashing.

Together, Cambridge and Horne shot 13 of 19 shots from the field, with Horne connecting on three of Arizona State’s seven three-point attempts. Warren Washington and Frankie Collins both contributed 11 points. The Sun Devils finished with six blocks, matching their season average, with Cambridge and Washington each contributing two.

The Sun Devils opened the game with 12 points and led 34-17 at the break. In the second half, they dominated, making 14 of 18 free throws and hitting 56% of their shots (14 of 25).

The Sun Devils, who entered holding opponents to 37% from the field, including 24% from 3-point range, were outshot by Grambling (2-2), who shot 27% (17 of 64) overall and missed 12 of 13 attempts from beyond the arc.

On November 11, Grambling (2-2), which defeated Pac-12 member Colorado 83-74, used nine points from Cameron Christon on 2-of-12 shooting.
