Chelsea: Tuchel reveals two grounds for declining to sign Ronaldo

Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Chelsea, decided against acquiring Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United for two reasons, which have been made public.

Moving to a variety of teams, such as Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain, has been closely linked to Ronaldo.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has requested Manchester United to permit his departure if a strong offer comes in this summer.

The fact that Man United didn’t make it into the UEFA Champions League has the Portugal captain concerned.

Football transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano asserts that Tuchel rejected Ronaldo’s request to join Chelsea because the German coach wanted a diversity of players and projects at the West London club.

Romano tweeted on Friday, “Thomas Tuchel decided against the Cristiano Ronaldo deal because he wants various kinds of players and projects.

“Cristiano rejected an official, substantial offer from Saudi Arabia and a club’s approach from the MLS. Waiting for him: Ten Hag.

At Manchester United, Ronaldo’s current contract has 12 months left on it.
