Cristiano Ronaldo will be Chelsea’s No. 9 player in the upcoming campaign.

Chelsea has been urged to “go big” this summer and pursue Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to reports, Ronaldo has made it plain that he wants to leave Manchester United for a Champions League team.

Despite the Portuguese’s 18 league goals at Old Trafford, Manchester United was unable to get to the Champions League for the next season.

The Red Devils’ Premier League standing last season was outside the top four.

Romelu Lukaku’s loan return to Inter Milan this summer has left Chelsea in need of a new striker to lead their line.

Scott Minto, a former Blues defender, wants his old team to get the United striker.

“Therefore, I believe Chelsea should go all out for Ronaldo.”

He said on the White and Jordan show on talkSPORT, “Cristiano Ronaldo is in a really really awful team, Man United were so poor last season, and yet he scored 18 Premier League goals.
