“Ebi yi to ge,” declares an 84-year-old voter in the Osun election.

The 84-year-old man, a resident of Ibokun in the state’s Obokun local government area, claimed that he and others in his community were sick of the state’s hunger being brought on by insensitive and callous political officials.

Speaking in Yoruba, the elderly man told Vanguard, “Ebi yi to ge (The hunger is enough)”.

I’ve been voting for almost 10 years, remarked Pa Awogboro. About 15 years ago, I worked in Lagos. I cast my vote today. It’s enough of this hunger. We shouldn’t feel hungry ever again.

“We are sick of seeing this inflation of goods rise and not fall. My vote is for us to obtain new rulers to replace the unfortunate ones who are making life difficult.
