EPL: Chukwuemeka, others gain as Chelsea releases fresh roster numbers

For the upcoming 2022–23 season, Chelsea issued new squad numbers on Thursday.

newest hires Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Carney Chukwuemeka all received squad numbers for the upcoming season.

The number 30 jersey will be worn by Chukwuemeka, who actually joined Chelsea from Aston Villa on Wednesday. Koulibaly and Sterling will wear 26 and 17, respectively, at the West London club.

Armando Broja will wear the number 18 this season, while Conor Gallagher will wear the number 23 after a successful loan stint at Crystal Palace.
