EPL: Saunders informs Man United that Ronaldo owes them nothing and is free to do as he pleases.

Dean Saunders, a former Liverpool striker, has informed Manchester United that Cristiano Ronaldo owes the team nothing.

Ronaldo has accomplished a lot in the game of beauty, so according to Saunders, he can do whatever he wants at this point in his career.

After Manchester United missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification the previous season, Ronaldo, who is in the penultimate year of his contract there, is desperate to leave Old Trafford.

Due to “family issues,” the Portugal captain is now absent from the Red Devils’ preseason tour.

In an effort to secure his client’s departure from Manchester United, his agent, Jorge Mendes, has been in contact with a number of clubs.

In the ongoing transfer window, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has recently been connected with Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Saunders asserted that the 37-year-old victor is free to choose his course of action in an interview with talkSPORT.

“Do you think Ronaldo owes Manchester United because we launched his career,” Saunders recalled Alex Crook asking. And I replied, “No, he owes nobody anything because he has contributed so much to the game.” Messi doesn’t either, to be honest.

“I don’t believe he owes anyone any allegiance. He has simply brought us so much joy throughout the years, and he has accomplished so much in his professional life. He is free to act as he pleases.
