EPL: Three more players set to leave Manchester United this summer

This summer, three more Manchester United players will part ways with the team.

They are Axel Tuanzebe, Phil Jones, and Eric Bailly. When Lisandro Martinez from Ajax arrives, their departure will occur.

Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Edinson Cavani, and Nemanja Matic, among others, have already departed the team after their contracts expired.

Additionally, Andreas Pereira is finalizing a long-term transfer to Fulham this week, but the Red Devils still have plenty of alternatives in the back.

Last season, the top choices were Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, and Raphael Varane, with Bailly and Jones starting only eight games across all competitions.

The purge at Old Trafford is expected to continue now that Martinez’s potential signing by United appears to be imminent.

According to The Mirror, the three defenders who were judged unnecessary will be let go.

Martinez’s £46 million transfer to United is reportedly imminent as Ajax has conceded that they cannot keep the Argentine international.
