EPL: You’ve different problems since Ferguson left, not only Ronaldo – Del Piero tells Man United

Alessandro Del Piero, a Juventus icon, has informed Manchester United that they have other issues outside just the forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Del Piero thinks that even after Sir Alex Ferguson left Old Trafford a few years ago, Man United’s roster still lacks something.

After Man United finished sixth in the Premier League standings last season, Ronaldo has made it plain he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer.

The Portugal captain was allowed further time off for “family reasons,” but has yet to report for preseason practice.

Regarding Ronaldo, who scored 24 goals in 38 games last season across all competitions, Del Piero told ESPN FC, “I still believe he is an amazing champion with a terrific attitude.”

He’s not as fit as you used to see him. Your performances will be significantly better if you are a member of a team that is performing really well.

The converse is true, however, if you are a member of a struggling squad. You’ll play far worse.

“Manchester United nevertheless finds itself in a challenging situation. Since Sir Alex Ferguson departed the club, both the managers and the players have undergone significant upheaval.

They face other issues besides Cristiano Ronaldo, too.
