EPL: Zinchenko discusses the two Arsenal players that influenced him the most



Oleksandr Zinchenko, a recent addition to Arsenal, stated that heading to the Emirates club fulfills a “boyhood ambition.”

The international player for Ukraine says he is eager to join the Arsenal and continue the careers of Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas.

After Gabriel Jesus, Zinchenko is the second Manchester City player to recently go to the Gunners.

I’d like to say that having this opportunity has fulfilled a childhood ambition for me because I was such a big fan.

“I was really enjoying watching those games, that Arsenal, [when] Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas [were playing here. Clearly, I began to adore this club, therefore I am overjoyed and unable to wait to play.

Zinchenko told Arsenal’s official website, “It’s unbelievable, honestly. Like I said, it’s a dream come true, and since I was a youngster I couldn’t even dream about it, but now it’s time, so I’m really delighted.”
