Family Feud, a well-known worldwide game show, will debut on Nigerian television on October 7, 2022, thanks to a partnership between Ultima Studios and MTN Nigeria.

At its headquarters in Ikoyi, MTN announced its sponsorship for the program and presented actress Bisola Aiyeola as the program’s presenter.

Steve Harvey, an actor, comedian, and TV host, founded Family Feud in the US and served as its first host in addition to Ghana and South Africa. The pleasure of the program greatly stems from Harvey’s unfamiliarity with and culture shock when seeing diverse African civilizations.

Aiyeola said, “I am happy to be presenting Family Feud,” expressing her joy. I’ve grown to adore it, and I can’t wait to introduce families from all across Nigeria to it. Expect nothing but constant laughter as you combine the amazing questions with our own brand of Nigerian humor. It involves more than just posing inquiries. Identifying the distinctive characteristics of various family members is part of the pleasure.

“Shared activities are one of the things that keep families together, and the program will provide viewers another way to connect, whether it’s via Family Feud competition or weekly episodes. According to MTN Chief Digital Officer Aisha Umar-Mumuni, it would be educational, funny, and highlight the characters of many families across generations.

Femi Ayeni, CEO of Ultima Studios, said the game rewards families as they play and earn money and other prizes in addition to its ability to entertain and bring together families.

On October 7, 2022, the program will debut on DSTV, GOTV, Africa’s Magic Family, and Africa Magic Urban, respectively, before expanding to additional terrestrial TV networks, such as Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
