Flying Starts to Continental Campaigns for Rivers Utd and Kwara Utd

Imo State is now filled with joy and joy excitement as the government and residents prepare for President Muhammadu Buhari’s second official visit to the state on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

The governor’s top press secretary and media advisor, Oguwike Nwachuku, said in a statement over the weekend that the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. The two main highways linking Owerri to Orlu and Owerri to Okigwe had been inaccessible for years. Declan Emelumba, various local union presidents, market women groups, and unions that represent road transport employees had contacted the governor to express their gratitude.
They expressed delight that the president would be there to personally commission the development while also recognizing that the upgraded roadways had positively helped their business.

The commissioner said that the governor should have been given less than three years by the president to finish three significant projects.
He named three projects: the dualization of the Owerri-Orlu Road, the first phase of the Owerri-Okigwe Road, and the renovation of the ultra-modern Imo State House of Assembly Complex.

The commissioner said that all preparations had been made to ensure Mr. President’s visit went off without a hitch as the state government finished up the program for the visit on Saturday.

The statement said that the governor was doing well because of the president’s second visit to Imo.
