He’s incredibly competitive, ambitious, and physically fit. Barcelona talks about acquiring Ronaldo.

Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo have discussed the prospect of a summer transfer.

This summer, there were rumors that Cristiano Ronaldo might be moving to Barcelona.

The 37-year-old is a very good professional who is still very fit and ambitious, according to Barca president Joan Laporta.

With players like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Robert Lewandowski currently in their attacking lineup for Barcelona, Laporta thinks Ronaldo will have plenty of transfer alternatives.

The Barcelona manager remained vague when asked if negotiations between the Catalan superpowers and the Portugal international were close, implying that only Robert Lewandowski was on their minds.

He told CBS Sport, “Ronaldo is a really good professional and he’s still so fit.

He is a player with a lot of ambition and drive, and I believe he has several choices. He is still a member of Manchester United, a remarkable team that I greatly admire.

“I don’t care about his future. Cristiano and Manchester United are involved.
