2023: Atiku responds to Fayose’s call for the presidency of the South

The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president, Atiku Abubakar, responded to the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, who suggested that the region should produce the next president in 2023.

According to MINIECHAT, Fayose stated on Wednesday that the PDP should allow for power rotation.

He claims that the PDP’s constitution allows for a rotating president.

In response, Atiku’s media , Paul Ibe, stated that the PDP presidential candidate will keep making appeals to resentful people before the 2023 election.

“It is fair for our people to feel resentful, but the PDP has a manner of settling situations like this, and that will be done and we all will be satisfied,” he told Premium Times.

“Because winning the election, ousting the APC, and stopping them from continuing their many years of impoverishing our people is the harder obstacle,” she said.
