LaLiga: Xavi predicts that more players will leave Barcelona despite Lewandowski’s goal slump.

More players will depart Barcelona this summer, according to manager Xavi Hernandez.

The new striker Robert Lewandowski, who joined from Bayern Munich, didn’t score in any of the preseason friendlies, according to the Spaniard.

Barcelona defeated the New York Red Bulls 2-0 on Saturday night to wrap up their preseason tour of the USA.

Lewandowski, who compelled a transfer from Bayern to Barcelona, has yet to score for his new team, but Xavi is unconcerned.

After the victory on Saturday night, Xavi said of Lewandowski, “He has been scoring in training, as the ball was going in yesterday and then today it didn’t, but it’s natural.”

“When Luis Suarez or Ferran Torres arrived, the same thing occurred.

“He will score goals, despite the fact that he contributes much more than goals.

Raphinha is a fantastic addition for this season and upcoming campaigns, therefore I believe he will also be a big help to us.

When asked if the Catalan powerhouses will add any more players before the transfer window closed, Xavi added:

“I don’t [know] if there will be more; everything depends on the finances and financial fairness.

I have been clear that there will be exits.
