Portable shouts out in response to getting a N20 billion lawsuit, “They Just Want To End My Career.”

After his former manager and performance organizer Ijoba Danku negotiated a dubious deal with an international music promotion, street performer Okikiola Habeeb nicknamed Portable found himself in hot trouble.

The Zazuu Crooner said in a video that has been circulating online that Freezy Entertainment, the international promoter, had promised to secure him a US visa, but after going to the interview and failing five times, he gave up on the contract. He also explained how he was invited to go with ten unidentified persons, yet despite that, he was still denied a visa.

A new acquaintance, according to Portable, offered to help him get a US visa and drive him to the US. However, the Entertainment label, with whom his ex-manager and promoter signed a contract, demanded that he must pay 12 Million Naira before they can terminate the previous contract.

The 28-year-old agreed and negotiated to make payments in installments. He claims that after making two payments of N2 million, he is unable to make the remaining N12 million payment.

The artist said, “The international label are asking for 20 billion Naira in damages money before they can cancel the contract that would allow him to fly to the United States of America without problems.”
