Ten Hag prevents a Manchester United striker from leaving because of Ronaldo

According to the UK Mirror, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag would not permit Anthony Martial to leave the team this summer.

This is a result of Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Old Trafford becoming increasingly questionable.

Ten Hag has been informed that Martial will remain in place for the upcoming season because of how much he impressed him during the club’s preseason trip.

Prior to the transfer deadline of September 1, United were willing to let the France international go permanently or go out on loan once more.

However, after watching him play over the previous few weeks, Ten Hag has obstructed that choice.

Ten Hag believes he cannot afford to let Martial go because Ronaldo’s future is uncertain.

The Dutchman is sure that he can get Martial back to his best and scoring frequently, but he has cautioned the striker that in order to reach his full potential, he must maintain total attention.
