Tuchel is planning to bring in two more players for Chelsea.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea is “working on negotiations” to sign Wesley Fofana and Denzel Dumfries this summer.

After losing Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, Blues manager Thomas Tuchel is scrambling to sign more defenders in time for the upcoming season.

Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli was previously added by Tuchel, and he missed out on Jules Kounde and Matthijs de Ligt to Barcelona and Bayern Munich, respectively.

Tuchel gave an update on their plans to bolster their defense on their preseason tour of the United States.

We’re looking for players who can play the left side, he stated.

Kalidou [Koulibaly] plays in a back-four on the left side, so maybe he can play there because Toni (Rudiger) played on the left side but wasn’t a left-footed player. However, let’s see what is possible.
