Joshua will soon engage in risky training. New Usyk fight

Anthony Joshua, a two-time heavyweight champion, came early in Jeddah to complete his preparations for the championship rematch with Oleksandr Usyk in eight days, and the effects are evident in a video that was published on Thursday.

Joshua and Usyk’s highly awaited rematch in Saudi Arabia is only eight days away, eleven months after their first confrontation in London.

In their fight last September at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Ukrainian pulled off an upset to win the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles.

Joshua seems in good form in the most recent training video that has been made public. He will attempt to recover the belts and become a three-time undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

Joshua seems to have put on more weight and strengthened his power in preparation for the rematch after cutting weight and trying to outbox Usyk in their first encounter.

Joshua parted ways with longtime coach Rob McCracken after the defeat in September of last year and backed new coach Robert Garcia instead.

Garcia begs his new opponent to utilize his better body to defeat Usyk the second time around after criticizing AJ’s strategy in the first bout.

Take use of your weight, height, reach, and strength advantages while dealing with someone who is much smaller than you, said Garcia.

“It seemed that they had a different strategy.

“I wouldn’t even want to call it a “game plan,” but maybe the incorrect orders were given. Anthony is the kind of fighter who pays attention to his corner, so he performed what he was instructed, even if it was completely incorrect.

Joshua seems to have listened to his new coach’s guidance based on the way his body is constructed in the workout film. Joshua is a Watford native.
