Concern Raised By Fani-Kayode over 22 APC senators’ Imminent Switch To The PDP

On Wednesday, Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, asserted that at least 22 senators have finalized plans to defect from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming weeks.

The impacted Senators, according to Fani-Kayode, who made this claim on his verified Twitter account, are dissatisfied since they were not given the party’s ticket for the 2023 elections.

With only eight months until the next general elections, he warned the APC leaders to take quick action or face a mass departure from the party.

22 APC Senators are threatening to defect to the PDP since they were not given tickets to reenter the Senate, the ex-minister wrote.

“This is serious, and we need to take action to stop it. Many people are worried, thus we kindly ask our competent National Chairman & National Secretary to contact them. Losing them is not an option for us.
