Honoring Bamidele at JABU

Michael Bamidele, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, and Legal Matters, has received an honorary degree from Joseph Ayo Babalola University in Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.

Bamidele received an honorary doctorate at JABU’s 13th convocation, according to a statement sent by the senator’s media office on Sunday.

According to a letter sent to Senator Bamidele by the registrar of the faith-based university, Mr. Dapo Adeniyi, on October 11, 2023, he was informed that he had been given consideration for a prestigious university doctorate (honoris causa) at the ceremony, which was slated to take place some time in January 2023.

“We are recommending you for our esteemed honorary degree in part because of your unquestionable accomplishments and relevance to nation-building and leadership in Nigeria and the rest of the globe.

In honor of his enormous contribution to Nigeria’s democracy’s recovery, expansion, and development, as well as his valiant actions as a preeminent political activist and seasoned lawyer,
