A year after the tragic shooting in “Rust,” Hilaria Baldwin, Alec Baldwin’s wife, admits they are “not OK.”

Hilaria Baldwin, Alec Baldwin’s wife, spoke candidly about how she and her husband are adjusting to the tragic incident that occurred in October 2021 on the “Rust” set.

More than a year after the sad tragedy that claimed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ life, the 38-year-old yoga teacher said that she and the 64-year-old actor are still having difficulties.

“It’s not good. We can’t be OK. Hilaria gave a sneak peek of her forthcoming Extra interview, saying, “No one’s OK.

“It was and remains a catastrophe that nobody could ever have anticipated,” she concluded.

WHERE THE INVESTIGATION STANDS ONE YEAR AFTER ALEC BALDWIN’S “RUST” SHOOTING

On October 21, 2021, Hutchins, 42, died away when a fake pistol that Alec was carrying went off on the set of the New Mexico film. Joel Souza, the movie’s director, also sustained injuries. On the Bonanza Creek Ranch set, the actor and crew were practicing a scene in a little chapel.

A recent podcast episode and a primetime interview immediately after the fatal shooting both had Baldwin adamantly denying pulling the shot. Initially, the actor claimed that he had drawn the gun’s hammer back as far as he could before letting go of it.

On the first anniversary of Hutchins’ passing in October, Alec posted a tribute to her. “One year ago today,” he captioned a picture of the late cinematographer that he uploaded on Instagram.

The gunshot was an accident, according to the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator. Prosecutors are investigating the incident, nevertheless, to see whether any charges need to be brought.

On February 15, a wrongful death case was brought up against Baldwin and other significant cast members.

According to the attorney representing Hutchins’ family, the complaint identified Baldwin and other individuals who were “responsible for the safety on the set” and denounced the “reckless conduct and cost-cutting” that resulted in Hutchins’ death.

On October 5, however, Matthew Hutchins, the late cinematographer’s spouse, said that the civil complaint had been resolved, subject to court approval.

With Matthew Hutchins serving as executive producer, “Rust” is scheduled to pick up production in January.

Alec claimed that he had depended on the film’s armorer and other crew members to ensure that the set was secure in a negligence case he filed against them last month.

According to the lawsuit filed by Alec’s attorney, Luke Nikas of Quinn Emanuel, the Academy Award nominee “must live with enormous pain” and endured “an emotional, physical, and financial toll.”

The complaint claimed that Baldwin had been wrongly accused of committing the catastrophe “more so than anybody else on that stage.” Through these cross-claims, Baldwin tries to make up for his transgressions while also holding the cross-defendants responsible.
