While campaigning in Florida, Biden lashes out at Republicans.

While campaigning for Democratic candidates for the Senate Rep. Val Demings and gubernatorial contender Charlie Crist in Florida on Tuesday, President Biden blasted Republicans and their planned policies.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is up for reelection, while Sen. Marco Rubio is being challenged by Crist and Demings, respectively (R).

In comments at Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens, Biden referred to Kevin McCarthy as the head of the House Republicans. The Republicans have — they are now stating it aloud. What they wish to accomplish is being expressed. God be praised for modest kindness.

DeSantis and Biden have a contentious history. They fought over DeSantis’ ban on mask requirements in schools, his passage of legislation limiting discussion of sexual orientation, and his shipping of migrants to Democratic regions.
