While campaigning in Florida, Biden lashes out at Republicans.

While campaigning for Democratic candidates for the Senate Rep. Val Demings and gubernatorial contender Charlie Crist in Florida on Tuesday, President Biden blasted Republicans and their planned policies.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is up for reelection, while Sen. Marco Rubio is being challenged by Crist and Demings, respectively (R).

In comments at Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens, Biden referred to Kevin McCarthy as the head of the House Republicans. The Republicans have — they are now stating it aloud. What they wish to accomplish is being expressed. God be praised for modest kindness.

In addition to repealing the Affordable Care Act from the Obama administration, he added that Republicans want to abolish the Obama administration’s policy that lets Medicare bargain medication costs. He also attacked Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), alluding to Scott’s earlier-released platform, which includes a plan to discontinue government programmes every five years, necessitating a vote by Congress to continue Medicare and Social Security.

This isn’t your father’s Republican Party, folks. This cat is a distinct breed, said Biden.

“Their extremism is not just limited to social and economic programmes. They want to control who can vote and who gets to count the ballots. for real. About 350 election sceptics are running on the Republican ticket. This is really sincere, man,” he continued.

In his speech, Biden referred to the upcoming election as the most significant of our lifetimes. It is only one week away.

“Consider Chief Demings working the beat in the US Senate. In reference to Demings’ previous position as Orlando’s police chief, Biden said, “I can hardly wait. Folks, Charlie and Val must be elected. Democrats must be elected at all levels of government.

He listed a number of Democratic achievements, such as capping the price of insulin, lowering the cost of hearing aids, tax credits for weatherizing homes or purchasing electric vehicles, and his plan to eliminate so-called “junk fees” and require airlines to disclose all fees up front, which was unveiled last week.

Aimed at DeSantis and Rubio, he also mentioned that the Port of Miami would receive a $16 million grant from the bipartisan infrastructure law.

He remarked, “I’m sure your governor will claim credit for it eventually. Val Demings backed it. It was rejected by her opponent.

He also bragged about his student loan forgiveness programme, which would erase up to $10,000 of federal student loan debt for borrowers making under $125,000 and up to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients.

How are Republicans handling this? Well, you guessed it. They complained a lot about it and filed a legal challenge, which they are going to lose, he said. I don’t want to hear it from Republican congressmen who support the MAGA agenda.

Prior to Biden, actresses Keegan-Michael Key and Jenifer Lewis also spoke, along with Crist and Demings.

Demings and Crist will have a difficult time unseating their opponents. In a survey published last week, DeSantis had a commanding 14-point lead against Crist. In a recent survey, Rubio had 47 percent support in the race, while Demings had 41 percent, maintaining his lead over Demings.

At a celebration for Crist earlier that day in Golden Beach, Florida, Biden spoke and referred to DeSantis as “Donald Trump incarnate.”

DeSantis and Biden have a contentious history. They fought over DeSantis’ ban on mask requirements in schools, his passage of legislation limiting discussion of sexual orientation, and his shipping of migrants to Democratic regions.
