Tinubu Reveals Who Helped The APC Win The EKITI Governorship Election.

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s presidential candidate, congratulated Kayode Fayemi, the departing governor of Ekiti State, on the party’s victory in the state’s just concluded governorship election.Tinubu claimed that Fayemi’s leadership style was instrumental in the APC regaining power in Ekiti.After getting the most votes, Abiodun Oyebanji, the APC’s gubernatorial candidate, was declared the winner of the governorship election.Oyebanji received 187,057 votes to Segun Oni’s 82,211 votes for the Social Democratic Party SDP.Tinubu, on the other hand, urged residents of the state to continue to put their faith in the APC.”I must applaud the now outgoing Governor, Kayode Fayemi, and his team whose progressive leadership in Ekiti made it possible for APC to maintain government for the next four years,” Tinubu said in a statement released by his Media Office. “I have faith in the Governor’s ability to finish successfully and strongly.” While appreciating the people of Ekiti for their continued support for the APC, I urge them, as well as the rest of Nigerians, to keep their faith and confidence in our party.”Former Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode also congratulated Oyebanji on his election triumph.”I congratulate our Governor-elect, Abiodun Oyebanji, and his Deputy, Mrs. Monisade Afuye, on their election victory.”As members of the APC, this victory is our victory,” he stated.
